Tip: Baythroid could be effective to prevent those beetles from your lawn. Another is pour a tub of water with soap into the lawn to flush out pests in the area.

Also, avoid cutting your lawn very short during summer season.
Tip: You can treat this with a Mancozeb and feed it with a high nitrogen fertilizer. Water your lawn in the morning so it could dry fast.

summer lawnBefore the season of summer comes, we should start to think of the best things to do to bring back our lawn to life. Having a green, healthy lawn could help us feel good , relax and enjoy more the summer days. In this goal, here are important tips to ponder for summer lawn care:

1. Raise the mowing height. - During summer making a raise of your mowing height will do good for your lawn. For this, scalping would be lesser because scalping your lawn, will help control weeds on your lawn thus, it will be harder for them to invade in your lawn. This could help your lawn grow more healthy and this could promote in showing more leaf blades from your lawn that will help show a greener lawn and will give chance for the roots to grow deeper, for the lawn to survive during the period of dry weather.

2. Work on High traffic areas. - You know where these high traffic area be located in your yard. If you see a low energy grass on the front walk off the patio or in the area of high traffic, think of something to do to lift those grasses up. You can give them an ample amount of fertilizer they needed to recover and a little of nitrogen could be the best remedy for this. Then, try to put some crumb rubber in the area. Crumb Rubber is taken from used tires. For it to soak up the traffic instead of soil in the specific area but should as well be absorbent enough for the water to go through and most important, for the lawn to grow more healthy.

3. Summer Broadleaf weed control. - The products that has carfentrozone.
