If you want your lawn to look good, you have an option for sod of traditional grass seed. More homeowners try to sod as viable lawn maintain. Because it’s easy to put on your lawn and grow, and easy to maintain as well. Taking care of a sodded lawn is something that extends far beyond the actually placing of the sod onto the ground. When you put it into place, you need to water this grass heavily to help it root with the ground below. Try watering on a daily basis and twice a day if you live in a drier climate. The grass would become moist during this process and remain flush to the ground. If you should notice any browning spots, you will need to step up your watering program. Fertilizing would also help in taking care of a sodded lawn. The fertilizer that you choose will depend on the grass that you’re growing. And finally, if you notice that your sod is coming up at the edges, you might want to use an aerator to help you add more air to the soil.
