It is a botanical component of a pest control that monitors the growth of weeds to mature and spread to harm over lawns or other plants and livestocks. This is a very important component to help lawns grow healthy. Weeds will block ways of being productive and be healthy. They could also be poisonous and unpleasant to the health of lawns and plants, it will also block the nutrients, water and other good sources to maintain a healthy lawn. In addition, weeds has the greater capacity to destroy the beauty of lawns and plants causing them to look dull and damaged.

There are some Weed Control methods and techniques that could be very helpful for your lawn’s health:

A wet newspaper or black plastic – This material is used to cover the ground. The wet newspaper aids to cover the light to meet the plants that could destroy them. Thus, filling the newspaper with water would be of great help to speed up the dead plant’s decomposition. and any weed that will start to grow and spread out, will also be decomposed. A black plastic used to kill plants below the sheet could also assist in the spreading out of weeds.

Stale seed bed – is a technique to cultivate the soil and leave for a week, until such time that weeds are developed , the perfect time for the grower to hoe off the weeds on the ground before planting your yearned crop. This technique is often used by farmers.

Using Herbicides – another method used to control weeds that comes in different types. Contact, Systematic, Soil-borne and The Pre-emergent herbicide.

The Organic Method – Includes the Drip Irrigation this bring water directly to the roots to limit the penetration of weeds. Manual pulling of weeds where laborers manually pull off weeds from plants. Mechanically tilling around plants to till weeds, tractors are being used. Ploughing is the tilling of soil, intercultural ploughing and summer ploughing. Crop Rotation is the rotating of crops to kill weeds through choking them and a Weed mat which is an artificial mulch,with the use of a newspaper or cloth it can eliminated weeds that grow on the surface.
